In such cases, Plan 99 is applied, classified as a special configuration defined based on technical criteria agreed upon between supplier and purchaser.
When Plan 99 Is Applied
Plan 99 is recommended for applications that require a differentiated approach due to particular aspects of the operation or the equipment, such as:
- equipment design limitations;
- need for integration with specific auxiliary systems;
- elevated pressure and temperature conditions;
- presence of corrosive, abrasive, or sensitive fluids.
In these situations, adopting a special configuration allows the system to be properly aligned with the operating conditions.
